If you’re friends with me on Facebook, you might know that I’ve signed up for Toastmasters to become a better public speaker. It’s something I’d like to do more of in 2015 so a couple months ago, my sister suggested that I should try them out. Last week I officially become a member and I won a little ribbon for Best Table Topic (2 minute impromptu speech)!
Go me! One step closer to my public speaking goals.
Another thing I wanted to do to work on my speaking skills were create videos. Because consulting is something I’d also like to do more of in 2015, I’m starting a video series called “The 5 Minute Consult” where I will provide quick tips on building your brand. Not only does this help me work on speaking, but it gives my readers some insight on how sitting down with me one-on-one would be like.
